This outfit is one of my favorites. Classic top and skater skirt match is the simplest but most popular way to dress for summer. I chose white for cardigan, heels and purse for a sense of unity. Blue is the only highlight color in this outfit and daisy is the only print, so the whole look will not appear to be redundant.

A Trip to Magnificent Miles

Tomorrow I am going on the plain back to China. I plan to spend three months there and come to the US t continue my study. Before I leave, a trip is very necessary, given the fact that shopping in big cities in America can be extremely pleasant compared to China. The reason is simple: tax is way lower!

Its my second time to Chicago, we choose to stay in IVY hotel because it locates right next to “Magnificent Miles”, the shopping heaven. Different shopping malls and designer stores are so close to each other, and so close to the hotel, I can just walk to shopping from hotel without any worry about parking. The price is reasonable (about $200 per night) so I did not expect to have a very luxurious room. However, to my surprise, the room was very spacious with a confortable bedroom and a very good-looking living room.

What I like most about this hotel is the bar in 16^th floor, where you can have a drink and enjoy the view from up high. The pictures are all took at that spot. Hope you enjoy them.

Outfit for Mother's Day

I am so excited that I will go back to China for the three months summer vacation! (Don’t worry. I will keep posting outfits during that period.) The plain will arrive at 13^th, a little over Mother’s Day (T^T), but I have agreed with my Mom to take her out for a dinner and make up for her. The outfit I am wearing for this post is the one I chose to wear to the dinner with my Mom, because green is her favorite color!

The skater dress is true to size, and very comfortable to wear. I particular love the design of the back. Tribal print and cut-out design forms a charming combination.

Navy and Red

Thanks Charlotte Russe for sending me the navy dress.

I always think red is the color of sexiness and enthusiasm, but it may seem too welcoming to wear red at work or school. The suggestion is to match red with some not-to-shining color, like navy or black. The Charlotte Russe dress is very simple but comfortable to wear, totally my type. The red heels got perfect red color and height. They are the shoes you want to wear for every occasion. The mini bag is very small, it can be used as cross-body bags or as clutch if you take of the belt.
